Winter Showcases

at Cake Cabaret

These are 5 and 6 week performance opportunities that we are so excited to invite you to participate in. There are 4 stage showcases, meaning that you’ll perform your routines on the stage at Cake Cabaret and can invite your friends and family to come watch! There’s no tickets being sold, there’s no charge for your loved ones to come watch, and there’s lots of space so invite as many people as you want. The showcase will be the last half hour of your final class. For the Contemporary showcases, there is no level difference in the two classes- just choose whichever time works best for you, or you can do both. Both groups will collab and work together on the final showcase.

There are 3 video showcases, which means that the final class of your series will be a video shoot, which will be filmed and edited by a professional videographer, and sent to you a couple weeks later. You’ll also work on performing for the camera and how to make those adjustments versus performing for a stage audience.

LOCATION NOTES: All classes and performances are at Cake Cabaret, 627 Danforth ave. (Pape and Danforth), except for contemporary which has a few classes at Pink Studio.
